To further reduce the disturbance of birds, we want to reduce our vessel movements by streamlining our planning for maintenance work at sea as much as possible. In addition, we also want to avoid sailing past well-known resting areas of birds. We are also implementing a protocol for waste to reduce litter during the construction and operational phase.
It goes without saying that ecology and sustainability are an integral part of this project – and thus our business operations. Hence, we are working with the entire team to raise awareness regarding the impact of our activities on the environment. We will also make sure that everyone understands the ecological context in which we will work together.
