In our monitoring and research programme for fish and benthic habitats we will mainly focus on evaluating the ecological effectiveness of all our measures using various methods, such as telemetry, abiotic monitoring, (baited) cameras and eDNA.
We will monitor and investigate the presence of certain species, the variation in species, and – where possible – their behaviour. This helps to determine whether our innovations really have a positive effect on fish and benthic communities. We will repeat these measurements 2 to 4 times in the first 10 to 15 years of the operational phase.
