Ecowende partners with Føn Energy Services, an integrated offshore energy services provider with strong roots in the Dutch offshore wind market, to deliver long-term inspection and maintenance support for the Ecowende wind farm. Originating as C-Ventus, a specialist in offshore wind operations, maintenance, and access solutions, Føn brings extensive hands-on offshore experience and proven North Sea execution capability to large-scale offshore wind projects.
Under a five-year contract, Føn Energy Services is responsible for above-water Balance of Plant (BoP) inspection, repair, and maintenance (IRM) services, as well as subsea ROV survey operations. The contract is based on a combined tender from windfarms Borssele 3&4 (owner: Blauwwind), Borssele 5 (Two Towers), Eneco Luchterduinen, Hollandse Kust Noord ( CrossWind), Prinses Amaliawindpark (Eneco) and Hollandse Kust West (Ecowende). These six wind farms have a combined total of 303 wind turbines.
The scope includes coordinated offshore execution, integration of marine operations, and application of disciplined work processes to support safe, efficient, and consistent asset performance throughout the operational phase.
