We will apply ecological scour protection on a large scale and will test various designs to determine which design provides the most optimal ecological scour protection.
This most optimal design would be a design that is (1) ecologically effective, (2) efficient and safe to integrate, and (3) offers the best value for money. We will test and apply three different eco-designs on 60-80% of the foundations, including – among others – variations in the size of the stones and crevices to create more variety in open spaces.
