Light reduction
We are aware of the negative impact of light pollution on bird species. We want to reduce this as much as possible and are exploring the possibility of reducing light during various phases of the project.
In collaboration with regulatory bodies, we will install the first Aircraft Detection Lighting System (ADLS) offshore in Dutch waters. This will allow us to only utilise the aviation lighting when an aircraft is nearby.
