With Ecowende, we will take a huge step by building the most ecological wind farm yet. By doing so, we want to help make a positive contribution to biodiversity and thus accelerate the large-scale roll-out of offshore wind in the Netherlands and beyond. Ecology will be leading because we know that renewable energy must become more sustainable.

Cognite and HUB Ocean have been selected by Ecowende to build and operate the Ecology Data Repository (EDR) for the wind farm.
IUCN experts to provide guidance for biodiversity monitoring
IUCN and Ecowende signed a partnership agreement with the aim to provide advice on the wind farm developer's extensive programme on nature preservation and reinforcement for the Hollandse Kust West wind farm in the North Sea.
